A full range of diagnostic services is offered focusing on identification of 20+ pathogens in wastewater, storm water, municipal waters, and environmental source waters.

Highly trained technicians at AquaBioChip test customer provided samples by extracting genomic DNA and amplifying for genetic markers. Amplified DNA is hybridized to prevalidated probes on an in-situ synthesized microarrays that simultaneously target multiple virulence/toxin and marker genes (VMG), which increases accuracy and sub-species specific identification. Upon completion of assay, customers are provided with positive/negative calls of detection along with raw and processed data.

AquaBioChip also specializes in the development of novel assays. We design and validate assays with extensive matrices of organisms spiked into various environmental water samples and field conditions (see Validation FAQs).
