Dr. Gulari is a chemical engineer with a number of inventions and patents related to in situ synthesis technology. Over the
past 27 years as a faculty member of University of Michigan, Dr. Gulari has published numerous papers on biotechnicological solutions, specifically as it pertains to high throughput synthesis and screening tools. He also has been a key player in the start up of 4
biotechnology companies (Xeotron, Atactic, Biodiscovery, and AquaBioChip). He has two patents; one is related to in situ synthesis. Five additional patents are pending in the area of microfluidics and microarrays.
